Bye Sam....Bye Teddy 😭

Knew both were gone, especially with Cousins coming in.

Bradford leaving has me pretty ambivalent. I would have taken him back as a cheap backup, but somehow he gets $15 million guaranteed from Arizona. But this closes the book on that whole weird saga. I will go to my grave questioning if Rick really HAD to give up a #1 for the guy, but in retrospect only bad luck made it a bad trade. Sam gets us to the playoffs easily in 2016 if the whole offensive roster doesn't implode. And you had to retain your hopes of a run in 2016.

Very sad to see Teddy go. He will go down as one of the most tragic figures in the history of Minnesota sports. Who would have guessed how much would be lost with that Blair Walsh shank? Teddy never played a meaningful snap in purple again. Had his knee not exploded on that August afternoon, he would have likely ascended to at least borderline top 10 QB level by now. Who knows if either of the last 2 seasons get us to the super bowl with him, but he deserved the chance to see. I hope things work out for him with the Jets. I was hoping he would go to Buffalo myself, but he could get the Jets to the playoffs IF he can still play.

Awful NFL season ends with awful Super Bowl

BUCCANEERS 31 CHIEFS 9 The 2020 NFL season is over. Thank god! A season that was almost across the board unenjoyable, and felt empty and largely felt manipulated, ended with the worst outcome imaginable. With a result that not only continues this 20 year nightmare but that will frankly hurt the NFL for years to come. I was not looking forward to this game. I knew this was going to happen. Maybe not in blowout fashion but I knew the NFL was going to see to it that Tom Brady got his 7th title. The house wins. The game was never fun. Right from the start the Chiefs seemed sleepy, like they weren't really in it. This team plays with swagger, but in this game they had none. Patrick Mahomes was under enormous pressure from the start. The Chiefs grabbed the 1st lead at 3-0 but then from basically the end of the 1st quarter until halftime it was a nightmare.
