The GOP's barbaric war on women.

It's no secret that the right despises women. I think they might hate women more than any other group. Yes, even more than black people, gay people, immigrants or Muslims. People from those groups aren't necessarily a part of a MAGAt's daily life. Women are, so there's even less of an excuse, if you will, to hate them.

And I'm under no delusions that conservatives are anything but demonic subhuman pieces of shit. But even still, the shit they are now pulling with regards to taking away a woman's basic rights is ghastly.

These insane bills and new laws being proposed and in some cases passed in various states recently are just astonishing in their evilness.

I watched the movie Reversing Roe on Netflix a while back, one of the most depressing films ever, and it discussed a lot of this exact stuff.

Roe v Wade has been used for decades as a political tool for the right. They run on overturning it. They get gobs of money. They get power....but then they don't actually overturn it.

But things are different now. Not since it was first passed has RvW been in such danger. There have been conservative majorities on SCOTUS, but this isn't just a conservative majority. After the stolen seat and the seat handed to frat boy rapist Kavanaugh, SCOTUS is not just an arm of the govt that may not necessarily LIKE RvW but would still let it stand since it is constitutional. It is now a fascist weapon at the disposal of the tyrant Trump, ready to do his own personal bidding, constitutionality be damned.

Which brings us back to these insane new laws. A law that bans all abortions 6 weeks after pregnancy, when most women still wouldn't even know they are pregnant. A law that throws a woman in prison if they miscarry. A law that throws a woman in prison if they leave their state to go to another state and have a still legal abortion there. Madness. I'm not even really sure how they could enforce a couple of those, but of course this isn't really the point.

The point is to have these laws challenged, so that they can then get kicked up to the fascist SCOTUS, where the illegitimate court can use them to once and for all eliminate RvW EVERYWHERE. Make all abortions illegal in every state, no matter the reason. You got raped? Too bad. Incest? Too bad. Mother's life in danger? Fuck you, slut.

It is unconscionable stuff. It is nothing short of an all out war against women.

The hypocrisy is off the charts of course, since these MAGAts are the same people who keep claiming that banning guns won't stop shootings. Well, banning abortions really won't stop abortions. It will just be the unsafe, often deadly ones women used to get.

And of course the GOP won't suddenly start actually giving a shit about all these new unwanted babies. They are against affordable health care. They are against affordable prenatal care. They are against anything that can help a poor mother or family get by a little easier. They don't want that kid to have any education. They want that kid inhaling poisoned air, drinking poisoned water, eating poisoned food. They might have some use for the kid once they turn 18 and can be used as cannon fodder in the next illegal war, but that's about it.

They didn't just start cooking all this up, of course, but it's even more demonic considering the wave of women who not.just voted last fall but ran and won. It's like their sick revenge.
