Billy Porter has gone from person I don't have any awareness of to person I absolutely loathe in record time. 

Just have Chris Rock and Steve Martin co-host. 

Tarantino leads another actor to an Oscar. Pitt was pretty fucking great. 

Toy Story 4 wins best animated feature. It was a pretty weak year for animated films tbh. 

Kelly Marie Tran had more screentime on the Oscars than she did in Rise of Skywalker. 

Natalie, as usual looking breathtaking beyond comprehension, giving her Ragnarok director Taika Waititi best adapted screenplay. Parasite won for original. No arguments with either. 

These reddit Oscar threads are the most toxic thing I have ever seen. They make the NFL game threads seem like paragons of manners. Kristen and Maya were funny, you shits! 

Laura Dern wins supporting actress. Not gonna gripe about it, but Scarlett and Florence were both better.

Eminem performing was strange. It was worth it just for the bizarre collection of crowd shots.

Deakins wins for shooting 1917. Just about the biggest no brainer in history.

Avengers doesn't win for visual fx. 1917 wins. I mean, that's dumb as hell, but the best fx rarely win.

I don't for one second believe that James Corden has accepted that Cats was a piece of dogshit. 

It's nice having musical performances at an awards show without having to have cutaways to Taylor Swift doing attention-seeking dances in the front row. 

Brie Larson: Triggering insecure men with shriveled dicks since 2019. 

Bong Joon Ho's best director speech was great, with the shoutouts to Scorsese and Tarantino. 

RIP John Singleton

Best Actor as expected goes to Joaquin Phoenix. No argument. He was fantastic. He has been knocking it out of the park in film after film for years. Speech was a little odd.

Renee Zellweger as expected wins beat actress. That's too bad. That was an all time bad pick. That performance was such a blatant "please give me an Oscar" display, in a rather bad movie too. And the other 4 performances were all legitimately great. I would have probably gone for Scarlett Johansson. I really think that as the years go by that's gonna be looked at as a huge blunder.

Best picture seemed to come down to 1917 and Parasite, and it went to Parasite. Honestly I really liked all the BP nominees, but Parasite, which I finally saw again last week, was right up near the top. It was just a fucking great film, so unique and original.

Show was kind of blah overall. Most years there is at least 1 upset in the acting awards but this time all 4 were locks going way back.

Awful NFL season ends with awful Super Bowl

BUCCANEERS 31 CHIEFS 9 The 2020 NFL season is over. Thank god! A season that was almost across the board unenjoyable, and felt empty and largely felt manipulated, ended with the worst outcome imaginable. With a result that not only continues this 20 year nightmare but that will frankly hurt the NFL for years to come. I was not looking forward to this game. I knew this was going to happen. Maybe not in blowout fashion but I knew the NFL was going to see to it that Tom Brady got his 7th title. The house wins. The game was never fun. Right from the start the Chiefs seemed sleepy, like they weren't really in it. This team plays with swagger, but in this game they had none. Patrick Mahomes was under enormous pressure from the start. The Chiefs grabbed the 1st lead at 3-0 but then from basically the end of the 1st quarter until halftime it was a nightmare.
