America: Endgame

Well, here we are. The eve of quite literally a do or die election.

It could be the last presidential election we ever have if things go wrong.

Like many I have major PTSD from 4 years ago. That was one of the worst days in American history, a horrible miscarriage of justice that has done more damage to this country than can maybe ever be fixed. 

Can it happen again? Yes. Yes it absolutely can. Do not count on anything good until it happens. Like most I thought Hillary would win, but was wary of the evil and stupidity of much of the electorate. I knew Trump had a chance. That didn't stop me from having a fucking panic attack as that night progressed. But yes, it CAN happen again.

Trump could win. Oh he can't win through any legal means, but he can win.

I don't think that's how it will go. Biden will win. We will know he won sooner than we knew Trump won in 2016. That wasn't official until the wee hours, but we all saw the writing on the wall by 9 or 10pm. I think we will know Biden won, even if an official call is not made.

Certain swing states still seem shaky. I have no faith in Florida or Georgia to have a legit result. I can't believe Texas flips blue. But there are so many of these states that are going WAY heavier towards Biden than they ever did for Hillary that it seems impossible for Trump to basically run the table like he did 4 years ago. And the wildly higher turnout we are seeing can only portend a Biden victory.

Unless they cheat. And that is obviously the fear. They cheated in 2016. Absolutely nothing has been done to stop further cheating. Whether it is Russia or something homegrown, everyone's vote is at risk of being wiped out.

And then there is the even bigger fear, that Biden wins and wins decisively. But Trump refuses to accept the loss and turns to his assorted goons and his handpicked SCOTUS thugs to just erase a Biden win. That's why Amy Cunty Barrett was rammed through. Nothing can be left to chance. Dear leader cannot be allowed to leave. 

What happens then? What are people prepared to do WHEN it happens? We already know the MAGAts are armed and ready. They've already been out there attacking people. I have said for months that election day is going to be one of the most violent days in modern American history. I have no idea how violent Tuesday is going to be, but it WILL be violent. And then if Trump loses it will get even MORE violent.

It's a rather terrifying moment. And 2020 has been such hell that Trump remaining president would be totally on brand.

If things go wrong tomorrow, we will witness the official end of America.

Awful NFL season ends with awful Super Bowl

BUCCANEERS 31 CHIEFS 9 The 2020 NFL season is over. Thank god! A season that was almost across the board unenjoyable, and felt empty and largely felt manipulated, ended with the worst outcome imaginable. With a result that not only continues this 20 year nightmare but that will frankly hurt the NFL for years to come. I was not looking forward to this game. I knew this was going to happen. Maybe not in blowout fashion but I knew the NFL was going to see to it that Tom Brady got his 7th title. The house wins. The game was never fun. Right from the start the Chiefs seemed sleepy, like they weren't really in it. This team plays with swagger, but in this game they had none. Patrick Mahomes was under enormous pressure from the start. The Chiefs grabbed the 1st lead at 3-0 but then from basically the end of the 1st quarter until halftime it was a nightmare.
