BIDEN WILL WIN!

What a rollercoaster the last day has been. But worth it, cause what for much of Tuesday night appeared to a slowly evolving deja vu nightmare instead turned into a glorious, exhilarating victory for all that is good and just.

Joe Biden will be elected president! We did it! We turned back Trump!

Tuesday night had me furious, as my previous blog can attest. To see Trump not only competitive but winning was revolting. How could this be happening again after what the last 4 years have been?

I was furiously checking Twitter and Reddit and even Facebook for signs of hope. And I saw a lot of people talking about how Biden was still in great shape despite the numbers we were seeing.

The cable news networks really were awful. It's like they were trying to turn every viewer into a paranoid mess. Florida looks good! (No it doesn't) Texas looks good! (No it doesn't) North Carolina looks good! (No it doesn't) Ohio looks great! (No...it really doesn't)

By the time states like Wisconsin and Michigan joined the fray and immediately began looking like Trump wins, I was despondent.

But I kept seeing all these tweets and comments about how Biden was still the favorite in these states and he was going to win.

The mail-in and absentee ballots!

Cable news did a shitty job last night of explaining how this unprecedented amount of early voting was going to work out as far as what we knew and when. I can't even imagine how many Dems like me went to bed early cursing the world, thinking that Trump had somehow won re-election.

I myself could not sleep. I maybe got 3 hours last night. But it wasn't the depressed sleeplessness of 2016. I was feverishly following the results...because something wonderful was happening.

The early votes were finally coming in in Wisconsin and Michigan. And Trump's leads were evaporating faster than you can say "grab em by the pussy." Biden was now winning those states! And he took over in Arizona! And he was coming back strong in Pennsylvania and Georgia!

By the time dawn broke Biden had gone from looking like a defeated candidate to a near lock to become president elect!

The day after has cemented it. As I do this blog nothing has been called or anything, and Biden remains behind in PA and GA, although he is surging with the early votes and may still take.both states!

Frankly there is no chance Trump can beat him at this point. The math and the logic of how the still uncounted early votes will go make this a done deal.

But I understand the hesitation to call it flat out. Biden himself spoke late last night about how much all votes need to be counted before any victory is proclaimed. The call will come. Just a matter of time.

Naturally Trump was not in favor of counting all the votes. He gave a disgusting speech himself in which he proclaimed victory and claimed Democrats are trying to steal the election and demanded SCOTUS stop all the vote counts.

You know what? Try it, you bloated orange turd. You are nothing but a one term president who twice lost the popular vote.

I'll be back to gloat further when things become official. Hopefully by this time tomorrow.
