NFL Week 11 recap

Thursday:

[Titans 27, Packers 17]

Well, that one week rebound by the Packers turned out to be a fluke. Tennessee handled them pretty easily. Packer fans booed Rodgers. This puts the Packers really on the brink of missing the playoffs, cause they almost have to run the table now. You wonder if it will  be Jordan Love time soon.

Sunday:

[Lions 31, Giants 18]

I actually picked this upset (I rarely get these right so I gotta brag). The Lions have pulled into 2nd place, and maybe even into wild card contention. The Giants still have the edge for a wild card but are slipping.

[Falcons 27, Bears 24]

Once again Justin Fields makes some big plays but the Bears lose. Cordarrelle Patterson broke the NFL record for all time kick return touchdowns.

[Eagles 17, Colts 16]

Watched this whole game. The Colts had this in their grip but gave it away by blowing a couple big scoring chances. Then Philly came back, which prompted the announcers to cream all over Jalen Hurts and proclaim him the new superstar. Funny, I can think of another QB to make some late rallies this year to beat middling teams and only get ridiculed for it. 🤔🤔🤔

[Bills 31, Browns 23]

Buffalo had to play a home game in Detroit due to a blizzard, but got back in the win column, even if it was a little bit ugly.

[Ravens 13, Panthers 3]

The Ravens continue to be weird. This game was 3-3 til very late. I continue to be amazed at just how far Baker Mayfield has fallen so fast.

[Patriots 10, Jets 3]

Might be the worst game ever to have a memorable ending, as the Patriots ran a punt back with seconds to go. The Zach Wilson era of Jets football is on life support.

[Saints 27, Rams 20]

The Rams collapse continues, including Stafford getting concussed again. They are having the worst follow up to a super bowl title in decades.

[Commanders 23, Texans 10]

Washington takes care of business for their 5th win out of 6. They are right outside the playoff picture at the moment.

[Raiders 22, Broncos 16 OT]

Denver's abject failure of a season hits a new low as they somehow find a way to blow a game to the godawful Raiders.

[Bengals 37, Steelers 30]

An unexpected shootout. The Steelers are being competitive enough to provide future hope but their 2022 is over. The Bengals are setting up to be a dangerous playoff team.

[Chiefs 30, Chargers 27]

Cheat code Mahomes does his thing again. Travis Kelce also had a monster game. The Chiefs will be a 1 or 2 seed and probably the AFC favorite at this point. The Chargers will be scrambling to sneak in as a wild card.

Monday:

[49ers 38, Cardinals 10]

In Mexico, the rising power 49ers bludgeon the poor Cardinals, playing again without Murray. Should make for a good Hard Knocks episode.
