I hate the media

It's been almost 2 weeks since the first Biden-Trump debate. Biden, while lethargic, touted his accomplishments and Trump's failures. Trump did what Trump always does: lie. Over a hundred of them in that debate alone. For anybody even skirting sanity, the debate showed quite conclusively that Biden is the clear choice for 2024. 

But don't tell the media this, because they have spent 2 weeks in an unprecedented race to see who can trash Biden the most and prop up Trump.

I'll never forget how as the summer of 2016 went along, it finally became clear to me that the media wasn't just trying to generate a close race for ratings. No, they WANTED Trump to beat Clinton. Months of badgering Clinton no doubt hurt her campaign.

The media certainly did their best for Trump in 2020 too.

No matter. They have just spent the last 3 1/2 years ignoring Biden's accomplishments, insisting on all these polls that supposedly show how unpopular he is, and propping up Trump again despite the fact that he is a 34 time convicted felon and has also been proven to be a rapist and pedophile. 

But did you see Biden's debate?

The corporate media, owned by rich right wing assholes, has not stopped trying to push Biden completely out of the race after this one debate (which he won, cause sorry, you don't win a debate by lying with every word).

Stories are made up that Biden can't cut it, that prominent Democrats want Biden out, and then are repeated ad nauseum until the uninformed start to believe them. Sadly, even some media people I do listen to have bought in, saying that Biden has to go.

Why? Cause of one debate? Why does his proven track record of getting things done not matter? Why does Trump being just a few years younger, obese, and with WAY more instances of cognitive decline not matter? Why does Trump being a rapist pedophile felon not matter? 

The fascist SCOTUS just proclaimed the president to be immune from consequences for any action. They have laid the groundwork for Trump to get back in office and just do whatever he want, make any laws he wants, literally KILL anyone he wants. This is where he could be headed, and the media just IGNORES this danger in favor of another "Biden is old" story, as they blatantly try to force him out.

This is the one true thing Trump ever said. The media IS the enemy of the country. I have never seen anything like what they are trying to do right now.

Biden has held a few rallies, spoken publicly various times, even sat down for a sham interview with George Stephanopoulos where he just got barraged with the same questions over and over.

They'll tell you the polls confirm this. Bullshit. The polls that said a red wave was coming in the midterms? Actual post-debate polls showed independents thought Biden won. They actually cared about Trump's lies, even if the media doesn't. I refuse to believe this bullshit narrative that this debate will convince thos country to give up democracy forever.

I always go back to the reality that ever since 2016, the electorate in this country has rejected Republicans and rejected Trump EVERY time. Presidential, midterms, special elections, you name it. So we are to believe that after all of that, they're just going to decide to reverse course and put Trump back in there? 

Look, people gotta vote. As hard as Trump and his goons tried to cheat and rig 2020, they're going to do it even more this fall. And there is always the very real chance his treasonous SCOTUS will just hand him the election anyway. Of course, if that happens, that's when people will have to die.

Hopefully it won't get to that, but I know the danger. A whole lot of people know the danger. Maybe the media knows it too, but they sure don't care. They want Trump back in for ratings. They also obviously must see that Biden would win, cause otherwise why even go to all this trouble of smearing him?

It will make Biden's win in the fall that much more satisfying too. But this has been a turning point for me. I will NEVER AGAIN trust the mainstream media. Fuck your ratings and fuck all of you.

Awful NFL season ends with awful Super Bowl

BUCCANEERS 31 CHIEFS 9 The 2020 NFL season is over. Thank god! A season that was almost across the board unenjoyable, and felt empty and largely felt manipulated, ended with the worst outcome imaginable. With a result that not only continues this 20 year nightmare but that will frankly hurt the NFL for years to come. I was not looking forward to this game. I knew this was going to happen. Maybe not in blowout fashion but I knew the NFL was going to see to it that Tom Brady got his 7th title. The house wins. The game was never fun. Right from the start the Chiefs seemed sleepy, like they weren't really in it. This team plays with swagger, but in this game they had none.
