Somehow the Twins, a team that has spent much of this season with the best record in the American League, and even now sits just a game back of the damn Yankees, gets just TWO all stars. Polanco and Odorizzi. No Kepler. No Cron. No Cruz. No Rosario(who would have needed an injury replacement.anyway, but you could have named him to the team). No Berrios. Meanwhile both the Indians and White Sox get 3 each.

June ended fittingly for the Twins, who lose a series in Chicago that they shouldn't have lost. They had chances in the late innings but couldn't get it done. They went 15-12 this month. Not awful, but the record did not reflect their play. They got bailed out somewhat due to playing 16 of 27 games against bad teams(Sox, Tigers, Mariners, Royals). But in July they have 24 games scheduled and only 8 against similarly bad clubs, and 4 of those are at the Sox again. Otherwise they have the A's 7 times and 3 against Texas, the Yankees and Cleveland. If their play in July mirrors June they are gonna be in serious trouble.

The Lynx just stink. Yet again they amassed a sizable lead today against Dallas, then blew it and lost. They blow large leads almost every game, usually in the 3rd quarter. It's the same story. Defensive breakdowns. Sloppy offense. It's not gonna get much better this season, even after Fagbenle and my gal Ceci get back with the team.

NBA free agency has started fast. The Wolves have yet to do anything, although rumors are flying that Andrew Wiggins might get traded. Durant's going to Brooklyn. Ricky Rubio signed with Phoenix. Derrick Rose left for Detroit. The Sixers traded Judas Butler to Miami, which is hilarious cause now he gets his money but has no chance to win a title. ESPN has to be crying cause they haven't been able to force any stars to the Lakers or Knicks.

    The Twins might still win the division but I don’t think they’ll make it out of the ALDS, the Lynx will miss the playoffs. Please give me some good news.

      Ceci might be back sooner than anticipated. It sounds like Italy was eliminated.

Awful NFL season ends with awful Super Bowl

BUCCANEERS 31 CHIEFS 9 The 2020 NFL season is over. Thank god! A season that was almost across the board unenjoyable, and felt empty and largely felt manipulated, ended with the worst outcome imaginable. With a result that not only continues this 20 year nightmare but that will frankly hurt the NFL for years to come. I was not looking forward to this game. I knew this was going to happen. Maybe not in blowout fashion but I knew the NFL was going to see to it that Tom Brady got his 7th title. The house wins. The game was never fun. Right from the start the Chiefs seemed sleepy, like they weren't really in it. This team plays with swagger, but in this game they had none. Patrick Mahomes was under enormous pressure from the start. The Chiefs grabbed the 1st lead at 3-0 but then from basically the end of the 1st quarter until halftime it was a nightmare.
