Championship game picks

AFC:

Almost anytime a high flying offense faces off in a big game against a team built on a strong defense and power running game, the latter team wins. I think it will happen again. The Titans have what it takes to keep Mahomes off the field. They'll probably need a little more from Tannehill than he gave them the last 2 games, but the Chiefs defense is also the worst of the 3 they have played. Andy Reid's conference title game woes continue. Titans 24-21

NFC:

It's not hyperbole to say this entire NFL season rides on this game. Every part of this game that has anything to do with actual football favors the 49ers big. They are the better team, the more complete team, better on both sides of the ball, at home, with an extra day of rest after kicking our ass. They blew out the Packers less than 2 months ago, and did so without several of the starters they got back last week. 

But when you have the officials in your back pocket, as the Packers have all year, nothing can be taken for granted. The Packers probably don't even make the PLAYOFFS if not for the zebras carrying them, yet here they are playing for a trip to Miami. 

I can't stomach this. Any of those Packer teams from 2011 to at least 2014 that didn't make it at least were legit teams. But if THIS collection of frauds is allowed to go to the super bowl after a season of bullshit, it will be worse than any Patriots title. 

The 49ers HAVE to win decisively. If this thing is close late, the NFC title will be decided not by the players, but by the crooked refs.

Awful NFL season ends with awful Super Bowl

BUCCANEERS 31 CHIEFS 9 The 2020 NFL season is over. Thank god! A season that was almost across the board unenjoyable, and felt empty and largely felt manipulated, ended with the worst outcome imaginable. With a result that not only continues this 20 year nightmare but that will frankly hurt the NFL for years to come. I was not looking forward to this game. I knew this was going to happen. Maybe not in blowout fashion but I knew the NFL was going to see to it that Tom Brady got his 7th title. The house wins. The game was never fun. Right from the start the Chiefs seemed sleepy, like they weren't really in it. This team plays with swagger, but in this game they had none. Patrick Mahomes was under enormous pressure from the start. The Chiefs grabbed the 1st lead at 3-0 but then from basically the end of the 1st quarter until halftime it was a nightmare.
