I hate being right sometimes.

The Thibs hire is the most damaging thing the Timberwolves franchise has ever done. Yes, worse than Kahn. Worse than any botched draft picks. And the long term damage is only beginning to be felt.

Thibs has been a disaster. He foolishly went into win now mode, when the Warriors and Rockets were unmatchable. He pissed off KAT. He stunted Wiggins's growth. He traded Rubio away for no reason. He became a leaguewide punchline for his addiction to bringing in his washed up ex-Bulls. He refused to change his antiquated ways of coaching.

The one feather in his cap was the Jimmy Butler trade. And now that's gone too, with the news that Butler has demanded a trade. Thibs guy wants to get away from Thibs. This franchise is fucked.

Jimmy Butler is a fucking prick as far as I'm concerned. He's a very good player, but he seems to be under the impression that he is Lebron James. Sorry dude, but you are not anything close to that kind of elite player who can bend an entire franchise to his will. KAT is the #1 guy here. And with his unchecked ego, Butler has jeopardized KAT's future here. And for what?

Naturally Benedict Butler only wants to be traded to either the Clippers, or one of the New York area teams, cause NBA stars apparently are all brainwashed into thinking they can only ever play in major markets. I'm so sick of this shit. It clearly means Butler cares nothing about winning, cause all 3 teams he named were WORSE than the Wolves. This is Stephon Marbury all over again. "I can't handle not being the unquestioned #1 guy so let me go play in a big market where I can be the #1 guy even if I lose"

If there is an upside to this, it could be that it forces Glen Taylor's hand. Thibs needs to go. Butler will be gone no matter what, so there will no longer be any argument left for keeping Thibs. Butler's sabotage makes the chances slim they can get a good return on any deal. Seriously, if Butler isn't doing this now, on the even of training camp, specifically to spite this team and its fans he could have fooled me.

Fire Thibs. Get whatever the hell you can for Butler. Give those 2 new rookies the playing time we all know Thibs never would. Essentially hit the reset. This franchise always should have built with the KAT/Wiggy pair, along with other young guys(and should have never traded Rubio). Yes this franchise may have to fall back out of the playoffs for this year, but they can attract players here still. Maybe more so, since guys around the league know Thibs is a joke.

Just end this debacle ASAP.

    I find it interesting that the Wolves and the Lynx are so opposite when it comes to success but they have the same owner. Coach Reeve has won 4 championships and players want to come here. And Thibs is driving players away. Thibs over played his starters.
    Taylor needs to fire Thibs stat. If he doesn’t it will hurt the franchise.

Awful NFL season ends with awful Super Bowl

BUCCANEERS 31 CHIEFS 9 The 2020 NFL season is over. Thank god! A season that was almost across the board unenjoyable, and felt empty and largely felt manipulated, ended with the worst outcome imaginable. With a result that not only continues this 20 year nightmare but that will frankly hurt the NFL for years to come. I was not looking forward to this game. I knew this was going to happen. Maybe not in blowout fashion but I knew the NFL was going to see to it that Tom Brady got his 7th title. The house wins. The game was never fun. Right from the start the Chiefs seemed sleepy, like they weren't really in it. This team plays with swagger, but in this game they had none.
