The Trump disaster reaches its natural climax

On the day that Congress convened to officially certify the Joe Biden victory, amidst some bullshit objections from bullshit crybaby politicians, a mob of Trump-sponsored domestic terrorist criminals stormed the US Capitol building.

They sent all the politicians present (Ds and Rs alike) running for safety. They broke down doors and smashed windows. They broke into offices. They looted.

And most simply walked away, with zero resistance. Even knowing how racist the police in this country are, it is still astonishing to see how little they even cared about one of the most prominent government buildings in America being overrun by thug trash. Compare this to any BLM protest we have ever seen. If a BLM group overtook a major building like that they would have been hauling out dead bodies by the truckful. But a mob of MAGAts get to do it and there are barely even any arrests.

And this will be the new normal. Don't think it won't be. It has been made crystal clear that this type of behavior is allowed, for at least the next two weeks anyway. But even after Trump is mercifully out of office his cult will remain, and remain so unbreakably devoted to him that they will just keep coming. DC is seriously going to have to be on a military lockdown day in, day out. Nobody will be safe. No Democrats, or any Republicans who dared to not go full on wingnut in support of the orange ape.

And I'm not much interested in hearing any empty words from any Republicans condemning any of this. Go fuck yourselves. You knew who he was. You knew who his supporters were. You knew what he was going to do. But you let it all go on for years, so you could get your tax cuts and your SCOTUS seats, and your judgeships. Don't you fucking dare try to play it like your are suddenly opposed to everything Trump is. You could have ended this fiasco a year ago when he was impeached. You didn't. You didn't care he was a criminal acting against America. You don't care now that he is trying to burn down democracy itself.

The Trump presidency was always going to end like this. This would have happened 4 years ago if Hillary had become president elect. It was always going to end with Trump refusing to accept defeat. Crying that it was rigged. And inciting his braindead cult to violence.

There needs to be swift and severe justice once Biden takes over. Trump needs to be fully prosecuted. Anyone in the government who helped him needs to be fully prosecuted. His violent cult needs to be fully prosecuted. This cannot be allowed to stand. Period.

Awful NFL season ends with awful Super Bowl

BUCCANEERS 31 CHIEFS 9 The 2020 NFL season is over. Thank god! A season that was almost across the board unenjoyable, and felt empty and largely felt manipulated, ended with the worst outcome imaginable. With a result that not only continues this 20 year nightmare but that will frankly hurt the NFL for years to come. I was not looking forward to this game. I knew this was going to happen. Maybe not in blowout fashion but I knew the NFL was going to see to it that Tom Brady got his 7th title. The house wins. The game was never fun. Right from the start the Chiefs seemed sleepy, like they weren't really in it. This team plays with swagger, but in this game they had none. Patrick Mahomes was under enormous pressure from the start. The Chiefs grabbed the 1st lead at 3-0 but then from basically the end of the 1st quarter until halftime it was a nightmare.
