NFL Week 13 recap
Thursday:
[Bills 24, Patriots 10]
The Bills win their 3rd straight amidst a wacky schedule. Naturally Mac Jones looks like crap again facing a real pass defense.
Sunday:
[Lions 40, Jaguars 14]
Well thanks for nothing, Jags. Detroit blew them out the whole way. Next week will be very tough for the Vikings.
[Packers 28, Bears 19]
So, I guess that since Green Bay won Aaron Rodgers didn't need to fake any injuries this week? This game meant nothing, although the Bears were officially eliminated.
[Eagles 35, Titans 10]
A total mismatch in this battle of first place teams. The Titans are slipping fast, but they have already damn near clinched their division. The Eagles stay comfortably up in the race for the 1 seed.
[Giants 20, Commanders 20 OT]
Well, this certainly simplifies playoff tiebreakers. I suppose since Washington had to comeback to get it to OT they get to feel slightly better about it.
[Steelers 19, Falcons 16]
Another.solid game by the Steelers, who would still need to win out to have any shot at the playoffs. But they may have a legit chance to keep Mike Tomlin from having a losing season.
[Ravens 10, Broncos 9]
The Ravens lost Lamar Jackson to an injury, but just barely managed to avoid what would have been a hugely damaging loss. He shouldn't be out too long.
[Browns 27, Texans 14]
Famous massage therapist respector Deshaun Watson made his season debut. And he played like shit, but won anyway cause his team got 3 defensive TDs and a punt return TD. So yeah, karma is a myth.
[49ers 33, Dolphins 17]
The 49ers get a big win, but lost Jimmy Garappolo for the season. But it would be foolish to dismiss them, cause even with a 3rd string QB in for most of the game they.mostly handled the red hot Dolphins.
[Seahawks 27, Rams 23]
Seattle saved their season with a late game winning drive. They actually slipped back into the 7 seed.
[Bengals 27, Chiefs 24]
For the 3rd time in a year the Bengals get the best of the Chiefs. The Chiefs managed to come back after being down 2 scores early but the Bengals made the plays late. Decent chance these teams meet again next month. KC's loss puts the Bills back into the 1 seed.
[Raiders 27, Chargers 20]
The Raiders have managed to win 3 straight, but it's too late to save their season. The Chargers really hurt their playoff chances with the loss.
[Cowboys 54, Colts 19]
This was actually a reasonably competitive game until Dallas put up a ridiculous 33 points in the 4th.
Monday:
[Buccaneers 17, Saints 16]
Incredible job by Tom Brady of making Mark Ingram inexplicably run out bounds. Fantastic work by Brady to make the Saints defense look like a poor man's Ed Donatell defense at the end. Stellar assist to the refs letting Tampa's fill in LT hold every play. Look, even with a loss Tampa would be a lock to still win the worst division in NFL history. It's just annoying that in 2022 teams are still bending over to burnish Brady's fraudulent legacy. Can't wait to see Dallas annihilate this asshole in the playoffs.
