NFL Week 4 Recap

Thursday:

[Bengals 27, Dolphins 15]
The big story here was not the Bengals getting back to 2-2, but the Dolphins reckless and ultimately disastrous decision to quite obviously lie about Tua Tagovailoa's concussion situation last week, and then put him back on the field in this game only to see him clearly suffer another one. So now their budding franchise QB could be longterm screwed.

Sunday:

[Giants 20, Bears 12]

The Giants got 2 QBs hurt in this game and the Bears still couldn't beat them. Giants are definitely the worst 3-1 team. Bears are the worst 2-2 team. Vikings, please don't lose to them.

[Seahawks 48, Lions 45]

Well this was just silly. The Lions offense can clearly score with anybody, but how do you give up 48 to a Geno Smith-led offense?

[Bills 23, Ravens 20]

A huge early swing game in the AFC. The Ravens had a 17 point lead, but blew it just like the Miami game. Buffalo re-establishes themselves as the best team in the AFC.

[Eagles 29, Jaguars 21]

I was not too focused on the early slate of games cause of Vikings aftermath, but I was stunned to see 14-0 Jags IN Philly. But it didn't last. The Jags turned the ball over a lot and pretty much handed the Eagles a 4-0 start.

[Cowboys 25, Commanders 10]

Cooper Rush mania continues, although obviously when his defenses give up so few points he should win. Boy do I regret that Commanders division title pick.

[Jets 24, Steelers 20]

Good news bad news for Pittsburgh. Good news is they made the switch to Pickett and he looked okay. Bad news is they let the Jets rally on them and their upcoming schedule is brutal. The Steelers season is already toast.

[Titans 24, Colts 17]

Titans get a big road division win over the still bumbling Colts.

[Chargers 34, Texans 24]

Chargers built a big lead then almost let the league's last winless team come back on them.

[Falcons 23, Browns 20]

Neither of these teams is good, but it looks like they played an entertaining game.

[Cardinals 26, Panthers 16]

Cardinals offense has not been that explosive yet but their defense got Baker Mayfield booed. I guess Mayfield might just be done as a legit starting QB.

[Packers 27, Patriots 24 OT]

Sadly we did not get the dream comedy of the Packers losing at home to a Patriots team that had to resort to a rookie 3rd string QB. We had to settle for the still amusing comedy of the Packers ALMOST losing at home to a Patriots team that had to resort to a rookie 3rd string QB.

[Raiders 32, Broncos 23]

The Raiders get their first win, as Denver's offense continues to stumble in the Russell Wilson era. Maybe they need Geno Smith.

[Chiefs 41, Buccaneers 31]

I was hoping this game was going to get moved to US Bank Stadium after the hurricane, but it was still fun to see Tom Brady get blown out on national TV. Same result would have happened in that super bowl if it weren't rigged. In fact the Bucs got so crushed that Gisele decided to divorce Tom

Monday:

[49ers 24, Rams 9]

Okay, back to standard operating procedure, where the Shanahan 49ers own the McVay Rams. Matthew Stafford is having a rough season.
