NFL Week 4 recap

Thursday:

LIONS 34, PACKERS 20

Okay, 4 weeks in you do probably have to give it up to the Lions. They're the best team in the north so far. This game really wasn't even as close as the score. Jordan Love was awful. The Lions defense was pretty good.

Sunday:

JAGUARS 23, FALCONS 7

The London Jags easily dispatched the Falcons and their bumbling sophomore QB Desmond Ridder.

BRONCOS 31, BEARS 28

In the week's other clash of winless teams, Denver spent a half making Justin Fields look elite, before staging a 21 point rally to steal a win.

BILLS 48, DOLPHINS 20

Buffalo, whose week 1 loss looks like the fluke of the year, made a huge statement by making it clear that they are still the big dog in the AFC East, turning an early track meet into a laugher.

EAGLES 34, COMMANDERS 31

A hell of an effort by the Commies, rallying for a tying TD at the buzzer (should have gone for 2) only to then fall in OT on a long field goal.

RAVENS 28, BROWNS 3

Cleveland had to start a mid-round rookie instead of Mr. Massage, and had no chance as the Ravens cruised. Baltimore is clearly the division favorite.

TEXANS 30, STEELERS 6

Don't sleep on the Texans. That's 2 straight blowout wins over decent teams. CJ Stroud is playing well. Steelers lost Kenny Pickett.

BUCCANEERS 26, SAINTS 9

Derek Carr actually suited up for the Saints, but it didn't matter. He stunk, and Tampa cruised. The Bucs might win that division with ease now that they have a real quarterback.

RAMS 29, COLTS 23 OT

Rams grabbed a big lead. Colts made a big comeback. Another big game for wunderkind Puka Nacua.

TITANS 27, BENGALS 3

Man, the Bengals stink so far. Another terrible game by Joe Burrow, and this time their defense got trucked too.

CHARGERS 24, RAIDERS 17

Brandon Staley again goes for a 4th and 1 in his own end late in the game and doesn't pay for it. Raiders probably win with Garappolo.

COWBOYS 38, PATRIOTS 3

After a baffling loss to Arizona, Dallas goes back to beating the snot out of opponents, this time hanging the most lopsided loss of his career onto Bill Belichick.

49ERS 35, CARDINALS 16

Another blowout win for the 49ers. Until Brock Purdy stumbles you have to say this is the best team in the NFC.

CHIEFS 23, JETS 20

The Jets defense caused Mahomes some problems and kept the Jets in the game. But Zach Wilson couldn't get them to the upset.

Monday:

SEAHAWKS 24, GIANTS 3

Seattle got 11 sacks on Daniel Jones, and destroyed the Giants, who have been outscored 64-3 in 2 home games so far.
