NFL Week 6 recap
Thursday:
CHIEFS 19, BRONCOS 8
Another ugly TNF game. The Chiefs weren't good but were also never threatened. As mortal as they seem they'd be unbeaten if Kelce and Jones had played in the opener.
Sunday:
RAVENS 24, TITANS 16
The Ravens weren't great, but the bumbling Titans were way worse. Would appreciate a great Ravens effort next week.
BROWNS 19, 49ERS 17
Just when I'm thinking the 49ers might flirt with an unbeaten season they go and lose a team led by PJ Tucker. Though it took a couple major injuries and a missed field goal at the end for it to happen.
BENGALS 17, SEAHAWKS 13
Another game led by defenses. The Bengals have gotten back to .500 after early struggles.
COMMANDERS 24, FALCONS 16
A pair of teams I have no handle on. Actually a rare home loss for the Falcons.
DOLPHINS 42, PANTHERS 21
Carolina stunningly went up 14-0 in Miami, but all that did was just irritate the fish, who ripped off the next 35.
JAGUARS 37, COLTS 20
Jags win their 3rd straight. The Colts probably won't get Richardson back this year.
TEXANS 20, SAINTS 13
The Texans didn't do much on offense, but the Saints did even less.
RAIDERS 21, PATRIOTS 17
The Raiders lost Jimmy Garoppolo again, but still held off the now 1-5 Patriots. Bill Belichick suffering is one of my few joys in this season..
LIONS 20, BUCCANEERS 6
I guess this is just how it's going to be. Every team that plays the Lions this year will play like shit.
JETS 20, EAGLES 14
The last unbeaten falls in New York. Jalen Hurts was awful and threw a terrible pick that basically lost the game. The Jets defense is very good again.
RAMS 26, CARDINALS 9
Cardinals led early but the Rams took over in the 2nd half.
BILLS 14, GIANTS 9
The Bills remain bafflingly inconsistent, but did just enough (and got just enough ref help) to beat Tyrod Taylor and the collapsing Giants.
Monday:
COWBOYS 20, CHARGERS 17
Back and forth kind of game. Dallas wins it with a late field goal and a pick off Justin Herbert.
