NFL Week 8 recap

Thursday:

BILLS 24, BUCCANEERS 18

Bills bounced back from that bad loss in Foxboro, but still were a hail mary away from losing.

Sunday:

COWBOYS 43, RAMS 20

Dallas completely blew this one out by halftime.

JAGUARS 20, STEELERS 10

5th win in a row for the Jags. The Steelers offense again was bad, and lost Pickett.

EAGLES 38, COMMANDERS 31

For whatever reason the Commies can play Philly tight. The Eagles look like a near lock though for the #1 seed.

TITANS 28, FALCONS 23

Will Levis had a huge game in his 1st career start, which probably means it's his show going forward. Atlanta wound up led by Taylor Heinicke.

SAINTS 38, COLTS 27

Another home loss for the Colts, whose season is slipping away. The Saints meanwhile have found some offense and might be the south favorites.

JETS 13, GIANTS 10 OT

The Giants are having a woeful season, yet still almost won with a 3rd string QB named Tommy DeVito, until they choked at the end (with help from the clock operator).

PANTHERS 15, TEXANS 13

Panthers got their 1st win on a last second field goal. So the Texans aren't quite ready to contend.

DOLPHINS 31, PATRIOTS 17

Miami trouncing another inferior opponent.

SEAHAWKS 24, BROWNS 20

Seattle moved into first place with a comeback over the Browns.

BENGALS 31, 49ERS 17

3rd straight loss for the 49ers, who may have started Purdy with a concussion. Joe Burrow lit em up.

BRONCOS 24, CHIEFS 9

Denver hadn't beaten the Chiefs since Peyton Manning was still playing. Mahomes had the flu I guess, and it must have been a bad one. Chiefs were due to get burned by a lackluster performance.

RAVENS 31, CARDINALS 24

Ravens had a bit of a trap game here, but got the win. Arizona was competitive again.

CHARGERS 30, BEARS 13

Chicago was never in this game. LA won without breaking a sweat.

Monday:

LIONS 26, RAIDERS 14

Another easy win for the Lions against a bad team that played terribly. Jimmy Garoppolo might just be done.
