Lynx raise banner...and maybe some concerns?

So...I've now seen TWO Lynx losses in person since the start of 2011(opposite like 30-some wins). And they're the last 2 games played at Target Center, Both against the hated Sparks. This one was not quite as gut-wrenching, but still.

The fact the Lynx had any chance to win at all, let alone hold a 1 point lead in the waning seconds, is some kind of miracle. 25 turnovers, I believe,  was the final total. Oof. And it felt like it. Never seen a sloppier performance by this club  That 3rd quarter in particular was a nightmare. And then the defense, which had largely shut LA down in the 4th, allows a fairly easy drive to the basket for the win. Shame.

Hopefully it's just a matter of both rust, and also the fact this is a roster with a lot of new faces. You hate to lose to LA like that, cause you're likely going to be fighting for seeding with them later on, and it isn't like the NBA where the regular season simply does not matter.

I tend to lean way more towards brushing this off as just one loss. This team has the track record. They won't turn the ball over like that again this year. And even without Candace Parker the Sparks are one of the best teams in the league.

And coach Reeve gets to kick some ass in practice now, which she secretly has to be thrilled about.
